24-HOUR FILM

CHALLENGE

Spring 2023, the Muhlenberg Film Association came up with the 24-hour film challenge. The task was to complete a short film in 24 hours that contains all given prompt. For the first time, me and another peer took up the challenge and made ‘How You Like Them Apples’.

ART OF EDITING

Spring 2024, I took a class called Art of Editing, I was able to explore more with the medium, outside of what I am used to with narrative films. These are some of my work I did for the class that I felt the most challenging.

Using old found footage, I created a loose narrative while still keeping the experimental aspect

Film re-edit-Banana Tree

This was a re-edit of a sequence from a student film made at Muhlenberg college. The task was to make the sequence cohesive with the rest of the movie and invoke the emotion wanted by the director

Art of Editing Final Project

The final project was to combined everything we have learned and turn into a 2 minute edit. Most footage were simple vlogs I did on a random day. Through clever editing, I compiled all the footage to turn it into something entertaining

OUR SHARED CURSE

I was the cinematographer for the student production of ‘Our Shared Curse’.As the cinematographer, my task was to bring the director’s vision to life without overstepping their artistic vision with my own.

A NEW SPRING

This was an editing gig I did for a start-up project titled, ‘A New Spring’. I was tasked to edit promotional reels that showcase what spring means to the people of Vietnam. Both these videos combined have attracted roughly 26,000 views.
